This solid foundation enables Serco France to foster innovation and deliver tailored solutions that drive efficiency and value across the industries it serves.
On behalf of our team, we are looking for a Technical Project Manager based in Toulouse, with the flexibility of a hybrid working model. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys exploring complex datasets, working at the crossroads of cloud computing and Earth observation, and helping shape innovative solutions that support how we understand our planet.
The Community You’ll Step Into
You will be joining one of Europe’s most dynamic space ecosystems, surrounded by engineers, data scientists, cloud specialists and environmental experts who collaborate daily on ambitious projects. Toulouse is home to a unique blend of operational, scientific and industrial actors, and you will find yourself in the middle of an environment where knowledge is shared openly and technical challenges are tackled together.
Within Serco France, you will be part of a team that values curiosity, practical thinking and collaboration. You will work closely with colleagues who support Earth observation missions, cloud infrastructures and data-driven services. It is a place where ideas move quickly, communication is active and everyone contributes to building solutions that clients can rely on.
The Difference You Will Make
Your work will shape how Earth observation data is transformed into meaningful information. By guiding technical projects from concept to delivery, you will ensure that cloud platforms, data pipelines and scientific processing chains function smoothly and evolve in the right direction. This directly supports applications in environmental monitoring, geospatial intelligence and climate analysis.
You will help Serco France strengthen its position as a trusted partner by delivering projects that are clear in scope, transparent in progress and aligned with client expectations. When stakeholders feel informed, when risks are addressed early and when solutions work reliably, you create confidence—both inside the team and with the organisations we support.
In this role, you turn complexity into clarity. You help connect technical experts, clients and decision-makers, and you contribute to solutions that have a real impact on how France and Europe understand and manage environmental challenges.
What You’ll Do
In this position, you will guide projects that bring together cloud technologies and Earth observation workflows. You will define what needs to be delivered, how long it will take and which resources are required, making sure that teams are aligned and that expectations are realistic. As the project evolves, you will coordinate the work of data scientists, software engineers and remote sensing specialists, ensuring that everyone stays connected to the broader objective.
You will oversee the deployment and evolution of cloud infrastructures, the integration of EO data sources and the development of processing chains that support environmental and geospatial applications. Throughout the project, you will maintain open communication with clients, leadership and internal teams, providing updates, discussing risks and adjusting plans when conditions change.
Much of your work will involve translating technical ideas into practical solutions, helping clients understand what is possible and guiding them through the adoption of cloud-native technologies. You will play a key role in bringing innovation into real operational use, and in making sure that every project is delivered with quality, clarity and purpose.
What You Bring
You bring several years of experience managing technical projects, ideally in cloud environments or data-driven domains. You are comfortable navigating platforms such as OVHcloud, AWS, Azure or GCP, and you understand how DevOps practices support stable and scalable solutions. You have been exposed to Earth observation data or are eager to deepen your experience with formats, tools and workflows that support missions such as Sentinel or Landsat.
You communicate clearly and work well with both specialists and non-technical stakeholders. You can manage several priorities at the same time and remain calm and organised when schedules shift. You understand the importance of transparency when reporting progress or risks, and you naturally bring a structured, solution-oriented mindset to your work.
Your background may come from environmental science, engineering, geoinformatics or remote sensing, and you feel confident working in both French and English. Most importantly, you are curious, adaptable and motivated to help deliver projects that push the boundaries of what cloud-based EO solutions can achieve. To join this role, you must also be eligible to work in the EU.
