Business and Enterprise Tutor

Staffordshire based

Full Time, Permanent 

Salary - £33,738 to £36,467 per annum

We are looking for a Business and Enterprise Tutor to join us at HMP Dovegate - a Category B adult male facility near Uttoxeter, Staffordshire where we care for up to 1160 male adult prisoners over the age of 21 serving a range of sentences including trial, remand, those awaiting sentence and convicted men serving long and short-term sentences. 

The Business and Enterprise Tutor is responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and innovative teaching in Business and Enterprise, supporting learners to achieve their full potential and preparing them for success in further education, employment, or entrepreneurship.

What I need to do the role? 

• Have proven experience of working in an environment that demands strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Have demonstrated flexibility and the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
• Recent experience and appropriate knowledge.
• Experience of a custodial environment would be an advantage
• Experience of working with learners from non-traditional backgrounds
