Here at Serco, we are seeking a dedicated and professional Treatment Manager to lead the effective delivery and supervision of offending behaviour programmes. This role is pivotal in ensuring programmes are delivered to the highest standards, maximising treatment effectiveness, and supporting the rehabilitation of offenders.
As Treatment Manager, you will provide line management and supervision to Interventions Facilitators, oversee programme delivery to ensure compliance with audit requirements, and contribute to both local and national initiatives. You will also work closely with the Head of Psychological Services to ensure that performance baselines are achieved, and services meet quality standards.

As part of this you will:
- Ensure programmes are structured, delivered, and monitored in line with relevant manuals, standards, and requirements.
- Oversee the selection process for offenders, liaising with the Offender Management Unit and other departments as required.
- Supervise and support Interventions Facilitators, including session planning, live supervision, and feedback.
- Maintain supervision logs and monitor the quality of reports and documentation produced by facilitators.
- Contribute to the selection, training, and professional development of Interventions Facilitators, ensuring compliance with selection guidelines and record-keeping.
- Play a key role in local AIM meetings and attend regional/national Treatment Manager forums as required.
- Monitor treatment integrity through reviews of session plans, case notes, debriefs, and live supervision, ensuring consistency and audit readiness.
- Work in partnership with the Head of Psychological Services to ensure services are aligned with audit requirements and performance standards.
- Provide effective line management to Interventions Facilitators, supporting their performance, wellbeing, and development.
- Undertake ongoing training and other duties in line with the needs of the role.
What you’ll need to do the role:
You will be an experienced professional with a strong background in delivering offending behaviour programmes and the ability to lead, support, and motivate others. You’ll bring a commitment to best practice, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Essential skills and experience:
- Good level of education.
- Previous experience delivering Offending Behaviour Programmes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and show empathy.
- Ability to manage own workload and lead others effectively.
- Strong organisational, observational, and time management skills.
Desirable skills and experience:
- Relevant professional qualification or further education.
- Experience working in a secure environment.
- Experience in treatment management of accredited offending behaviour programmes.
- Awareness of Health & Safety regulations, Prison Service policies, and diversity/equality issues.
