We are currently seeking a SharePoint Security Architect to support an EU Agency in Warsaw, Poland, and other locations across Europe.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and propose secure architectures that support the organisation's strategy and business objectives.
  • Develop cybersecurity architectures that address security and privacy requirements.
  • Produce architecture documentation, technical specifications, and design artefacts.
  • Present high-level security architectures and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ensure secure development practices throughout the system, service, and product development lifecycle.
  • Lead the development, integration, and maintenance of cybersecurity components, ensuring compliance with security requirements and specifications.
  • Assess and evaluate the cybersecurity of the organisation's architecture.
  • Conduct security architecture reviews to ensure the integrity of solution designs.
  • Collaborate with security specialists and technical teams to embed security principles into solution architectures.
  • Evaluate the impact of cybersecurity solutions on system design, architecture, and performance.
  • Adapt the organisation's security architecture to address emerging cyber threats.
  • Assess implemented architectures to ensure an appropriate level of security is maintained.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) principles.
  • Knowledge of security architecture frameworks, reference models, and security solutions.
  • Knowledge of current technologies and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Knowledge of emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.
  • Ability to understand organisational objectives, business processes, and associated risks.
  • Ability to analyse business and user requirements.
  • Ability to produce architectural and functional specifications.
  • Ability to design cybersecurity architectures based on Security by Design, Privacy by Design, and Secure by Default principles.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance to development and IT teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to propose cybersecurity architectures aligned with business requirements and budget constraints.
  • Ability to select appropriate security controls and specifications, including cryptographic models and access control mechanisms.
  • Ability to design resilient architectures that minimise single points of failure.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership in solution architecture.
  • Ability to lead the integration of cybersecurity solutions.

Specific Expertise

  • Expert knowledge of SharePoint and SharePoint platform technologies.
  • Expertise in cybersecurity for software development and application architecture.
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work across a broad range of technologies and platforms.

Qualifications

Master's degree.

At least four of the following certifications, or internationally recognised equivalent certifications accepted by the Contracting Authority:

  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
  • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
  • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
  • SABSA Chartered Security Architect – Foundation Certificate (SCF)
  • TOGAF Foundation
  • TOGAF Certified
  • CNDA (EC-Council Certified Network Defense Architect)
  • CISSP-ISSAP ((ISC)² Certified Information Systems Security Architecture Professional)
  • CGEIT (ISACA Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT)
  • CRISC (ISACA Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control)
  • SCPA (SABSA Certified Security Architecture Design & Development Practitioner)
  • SCMA (SABSA Certified Security Architecture Design & Development Specialist)
  • GSNA (GIAC Systems and Network Auditor)
  • GCCC (GIAC Critical Controls Certification)
