Test Expert in SharePoint based Applications

We are currently seeking a Test Expert – SharePoint-Based Applications to support an EU Agency in Warsaw, Poland, and other locations across Europe.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop the overall testing strategy and plan project testing activities.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, and testing environments.
• Develop, execute, and debug application test cases and test scripts.
• Validate and document testing activities and their successful completion.
• Interpret test results and report on testing progress, issues, and risks.
• Review functional and technical system designs to ensure testability.
• Contribute to quality assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Document test results, record defects, and track their resolution.
• Monitor testing outcomes, analyse system quality, and report on project status and quality trends.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, software development teams, and the Service Desk.

Skills and Knowledge

• Expert knowledge of software testing methodologies, including unit, integration, functional, performance, stress, acceptance, and regression testing.
• Expertise in designing and maintaining test environments.
• Hands-on experience testing complex systems, in line with the required level of professional experience.
• Experience implementing and configuring test management tools for new projects.
• Experience producing comprehensive test documentation.
• Experience leading testing activities within complex projects.
• Practical knowledge of industry-standard testing tools.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly understand complex systems.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
• Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes.

Specific Expertise and Qualification

• Experience using Azure DevOps Test Plans.
• Hands-on experience writing SQL queries.
• Hands-on experience testing SharePoint-based applications.

One of the following is required:

• ISTQB Advanced Certification.
• An internationally recognised equivalent certification accepted by the Contracting Authority.
• Alternatively, a minimum of three additional years of experience in test management beyond the required minimum experience for a similar role.
