Working Week: 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
Salary: £19,292.91 per annum plus benefits & 25 days annual leave

Serco have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Administrator Apprentice to join the Restart team based in West Bromwich.
In this role you will support the Serco Employment Skills and Enterprise Quality & Compliance Team to ensure the accurate transfer of data to and from DWP and Serco systems following compliance testing, whilst completing Serco’s Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
We are looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail, confident in providing excellent telephone-based customer service and will be able to input data at speed and with a high degree of accuracy.
Day to day you’ll be involved in:
- Processing of key referral, programme start and payment data via the PRaP system
- Transfer of data between Serco systems and PRaP while maintaining data integrity
- Identification, investigation and resolution of data processing errors, escalating to the Data Team Leader where necessary.
- Completion of quality and compliance testing on key programme milestones and evidence to support contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Support the wider Quality and Compliance Team in maintaining contract compliance by ensuring accuracy of data submission within contractual timeframes
What you need to do the Apprenticeship?
Essential
- 5 GCSE (A-C/9-4) including English and Maths
- Good IT skills with particular emphasis on MS Excel and MS Office 365 software
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across a number of work streams
- Confident to communicate through a variety of media with internal and external stakeholders
- Use own initiative and work independently
- Demonstrate a flexible approach to work
- To meet the eligibility criteria for the apprenticeship, candidates must have been a UK resident for at least 3 years
Desirable
- Understanding of DWP/welfare to work market environment
- Experience of working in a compliance environment ideally within the Employability sector
- Experience of CRM based systems
