Make an impact at Serco

As an Administration Support Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Performance Team at Kohuora Auckland South Corrections Facility. You’ll ensure prisoner records are accurate, well-managed, and compliant with contractual and Privacy Act requirements. Working closely with the Privacy Manager and wider team, you’ll help maintain efficient administrative operations while handling sensitive information with care. Your work will directly support better outcomes for staff, stakeholders, and the people in our care.

As an Administration Support Officer in the Performance team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Managing and maintaining prisoner files in line with Corrections standards

  • Responding to Privacy Act information requests accurately and on time

  • Supporting senior managers with meetings, coordination and admin tasks

  • Assisting with reception duties and day-to-day office operations

  • Maintaining organised, accessible records and documentation systems

  • Collaborating with teams to resolve filing and information queries

  • Understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi and a commitment to better outcomes for Māori

  • The legal right to work in New Zealand (e.g. NZ or Australian citizen, NZ Residency or open work visa).
