As a Reducing Reoffending Coordinator in the Case Management team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting rehabilitation and reintegration efforts for individuals in custody. You’ll be instrumental in managing parole-related administration, facilitating hearings, and ensuring high-quality data assurance. Your work directly contributes to better outcomes for individuals and helps shape safer communities.

As a Reducing Reoffending Coordinator in the Case Management team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Managing and tracking parole assessments and hearing schedules

  • Coordinating documentation for NZ Parole Board, including sentencing notes and reports

  • Facilitating Audio Visual Link (AVL) and Virtual Meeting Room (VMR) bookings for hearings

  • Ensuring compliance with parole reporting timelines and data accuracy

  • Providing monthly performance reports and supporting governance processes

  • Liaising with internal teams and external partners to support seamless reintegration pathways

  • Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new systems

  • A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to working in a complex environment

  • A relevant qualification in psychology, criminology, sociology or law (desired)
