Make an impact at Serco
You’ll play a key role in supporting safe and successful reintegration of prisoners into the community. Based onsite at Kohuora Auckland South Corrections Facility, you’ll be part of a tight-knit Reintegration Hub team that works closely with prisoners, whānau, internal teams and external stakeholders. Your day-to-day will involve contributing to pre-release planning, managing reintegration logistics, and supporting administrative processes to help individuals transition positively and safely.

As a Reintegration Hub Coordinator in the Reintegration Hub team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Managing the Reintegration Package initiative, including birth certificates and Kiwi Access Cards

  • Coordinating release day support for prisoners and their whānau

  • Supporting administrative tasks for Release to Work, including external stakeholder paperwork

  • Organising GPS tracking setup within Corrections systems

  • Participating in weekly pre-release meetings with Corrections and case management staff

  • Building strong relationships across internal and external networks to enable reintegration success

You could be a great fit if you have:

  • A qualification in Psychology, Criminology, Social Work or a related field (desirable)

  • Experience working in the justice sector or with Māori and Pasifika communities

  • Previous work in community engagement or with special interest groups

  • Strong administrative and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

  • The ability to work across cultures with empathy, warmth and professionalism

  • A full NZ Driver’s Licence and the ability to gain relevant security clearances
