Acacia Prison is Western Australia’s largest medium-security prison, located in Wooroloo, and is home to around 1500 men. We take pride in our rehabilitation programs, education services, safety record, and strong pro-social learning environment. As an Administration Support Officer in our Education and Training team, you’ll play an important role in keeping our operations running smoothly and ensuring prisoners have access to meaningful learning and training opportunities.
As an Administration Support Officer in the Education and Training team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

Using IT platforms to organise information and data

Collating reports and preparing information for education programs
-
Coordinating administration for team meetings, including minute-taking
-
Ordering, monitoring and managing educational resources
-
Communicating and supporting Education Facilitators and Vocational Trainers
-
Responding to student enquiries and ensuring smooth administrative processes
