Make an impact at Serco
As a Clinical Pharmacist at Acacia Prison, you will work closely with the Healthcare team in the provision of pharmacy services to patients within the scope of practice of a Registered Pharmacist. This is a part-time, permanent role based in Wooroloo, WA.

As a Clinical Pharmacist, you’ll make a positive impact by:

- Coordinating and managing the provision of primary healthcare services to inmates
- Supporting clinical assessments, care planning, and discharge processes
- Providing mentorship and guidance to new staff and ensuring best practice standards
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver quality services
- Assisting in risk assessments, patient support, and harm minimisation strategies
- Supporting quality improvement projects and participating in policy development
- Maintaining comprehensive clinical documentation and adhering to facility requirements

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

- Current unconditional and unrestricted Registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA 
- 2 years post registration experience full time or part time equivalent in a hospital or community pharmacy setting 
- Experience in customer service, hospitals or forensic/correctional setting (desirable) 
- Experience working in electronic pharmacy and or health management systems (desirable) 
- Ability to effectively communicate in both oral and written forms 
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing demands to meet deadlines 
- Ability to work effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders to foster beneficial relationships
