You’re passionate about using your IT skills to educate and inspire others. In this full-time role based at Wooroloo, you’ll deliver engaging, accredited IT training to adult learners in a correctional environment. You’ll design and implement programs that build digital literacy and support prisoner rehabilitation, working within a supportive Education and Training Team. Your work will directly contribute to improving the future employment opportunities of students and their successful reintegration into the community.

As a Vocational Trainer – IT in the Education and Training team, you’ll make a positive impact by:

  • Delivering culturally sensitive IT training and assessment in line with RTO standards
  • Designing, planning and evaluating IT education programs for adult learners
  • Developing and maintaining quality learning resources within security guidelines
  • Supporting other educators with IT components of their curriculum
  • Managing course administration accurately and on time
  • Participating in team and operational meetings to drive innovation and continuous improvement

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
  • IT qualification above Certificate II level
  • Experience working with adult learners and delivering accredited training
  • Understanding of RTO standards and compliance requirements
  • Strong digital literacy skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and maintain professionalism in a secure environment
